2015 came and went with the blink of an eye. There were many ups and down, just like any other year. I've never made a list of things to complete by the new year, however I want this year to end a little differently. So I decided to make a list of things that I don't necessarily want to check off, but things that I want to strive to be better at. I want to see how I can grow as a person in 2016.
Here is my list: 1. Work out at least once a week 2. Meet new people and make new friends 3. Eat healthier, maybe become a vegetarian! 4. Get out of the house more 5. Go downtown at least once a week 6. Study more/try harder in school 7. Go someplace new at least once a month 8. Visit my friends at different schools 9. Don't be afraid to try new things 10. Try going to different fraternity parties, don't just go to the same ones 11. Learn to date 12. Explore milledgeville 13. Spend more time with friends and family 14. Learn what I want to do after college, declare my major. 15. Start reading again 16. Follow the Presidential campaign 17. Read what is going on with the world everyday 18. Clean up more 19. Save money 20. Volunteer more Most of these things are pretty common, but I think this list will motivate me to become a better person in 2016. I can't wait to see what I can do with the new year. I don't expect myself to complete all of these or follow them every day, week, or month, but they are just guidelines to a better self. I can't wait to look back and see how I did at the end of this year!
